About the film:

One of the first and best films, seriously addressing the problem of adaptation of Vietnam veterans to civilian life. 1968. Sally's husband (Jane Fund) Hyde (Bruce turf) - Captain of the Marines, which are sent to fight in Vietnam. Sally, meanwhile, finds a nurse at a local military hospital, to keep pace with the husband. There, Sally met with paralyzed Luc Martin (John Enter). They soon find out that, once enrolled in a school and they have much in common. Over time, Sally realizes that in love with Lucas, and now she is in front of a heavy choice.

The film is very moving, be sure to enjoy sentimental people. Especially strongly lifted and played scenes in which appear the most basic human emotions and experiences.

Oscar for best male role (Enter John), best female role (Jane Fund), the script (by topic Nancy Daoud, writers Wald Salt, Robert C. Jones). Nominations for the Oscar for best film, best male role of the second plan (Bruce sod), best female role of the second plan (Penelope Milford), director (Hal Ashby).

it's a great Vietnam war DRAMA movie, really best of oldies...... have a nice time.....
